We plan to extend our fieldwork beyond the means of our classroom and do not want to limit ourselves to the internet. The Reefolutionaries plan on visiting harbors, reefs, and coasts of California to collect our own data of deteriorating water quality and how it negatively affects marine life and weakens coastal resilience. We have visited places like Santa Catalina Island, Anacapa Island, and Ventura Harbor. We hope to travel to more locations to further collect data, to create analysis opportunities, and to add depth and validity to our research.
